I really enjoyed doing this year, and I didn't want to stop Arting, so I've continued to do some no-deadline, low-pressure stuff, just for my own amusement.
I just finished my first big project, and I wanted to share it here. It's not perfect - there are lots of little things I would love to fix - but it's done, and I'm honestly pretty proud of it. I learned a lot, and I'm excited to start working on something else.

It's a reproduction of the cover of Flip No.1, from April 1954, by Howard Nostrand.

Here's Nostrand's original cover:

All said and done, I'm estimating about 14 hours went into it. It's not perfect, but I'm really happy with it, especially since I've really only been drawing regularly for the last month and a half.

@PostMasterGeneral whoa, I would not have guessed that it’s the work of someone who’s only been drawing for a month and a half, it looks so good!

I mean I have *drawn* before, just not like this, and not regularly. 😆

But, yeah, thanks!
