CW for Comedic Horror art from the 1950s

It's a reproduction of the cover of Flip No.1, from April 1954, by Howard Nostrand.

Here's Nostrand's original cover:

I really enjoyed doing this year, and I didn't want to stop Arting, so I've continued to do some no-deadline, low-pressure stuff, just for my own amusement.
I just finished my first big project, and I wanted to share it here. It's not perfect - there are lots of little things I would love to fix - but it's done, and I'm honestly pretty proud of it. I learned a lot, and I'm excited to start working on something else.

I was up too late last night, playing Inscryption.
It's creepy, and clever, and fun, and I really appreciate how far out of their way most reviewers are going to not spoil post Act 1 content. I haven't gotten there yet, but I'm very close, and super interested in what's going to happen!

I did it! 31 drawings in 31 days!
I feel like I learned a ton, and it was (mostly) a lot of fun.
Super glad to have done this with @Juju every day!

Day 30 of #inktober.
The prompt is cryptid and I wanted to catch up and do something small and still managed to fuck it up xD
